Putu
Putu is Balinese and lives in a nearby village. She is a cheerful, funny young woman who sees to the needs of the house as well as the residents of Buddha Homestay. Together with Ketut, she takes care of daily offerings to the gods, (tiny woven baskets containing flowers and rice), prepares breakfast with Ketut, helps tend the garden, looks after swimming pool maintenance, and cleans and prepares the rooms.
Ketut
Ketut is also Balinese and lives in another nearby village. This experienced woman arrived at Buddha homestay when it was just starting out. She is smiling, discreet and attentive. Together with Putu, she tends to daily religious offerings, prepares breakfast, cleans and prepares rooms, and with her exceptionally green fingers, tends to the garden daily in our little corner of paradise.
